Of dual Italian and German nationalities, Frederika was born in Italy but grew up in Luxembourg.  She moved to the UK in 1990 to study Business and Management at the University of Bradford, where she met her husband. She lives in Yorkshire with her husband and two teenage daughters.

Frederika’s career has spanned from teaching to social media marketing via recruitment, from voice-over work and radio presenting to professional speaking. From overcoming the traumatic ordeals her family has gone through to the challenges she has surmounted while setting up, growing, shrinking and closing businesses, Frederika’s life has been many things, but never boring.  She describes herself as a ‘fundamentally happy’ person and shares the ingredients to her recipe for happiness through her speaking and writing.  Frederika’s simple and practical tips for achieving / sustaining ‘fundamental happiness’ help her audiences and readers to feel happier, more in control of their lives and, consequently, able to achieve more in their personal and business lives.
